Type 1 Diabetes Families need ongoing education & support at each stage of growth. The basic survival skill training is time and effort intensive. Structured education in T1D care leads to better control, better quality of life and less hospitalization. Educators play an essential role in empowering the T1D Families.
Over the last 20 years we have been able to save lives, find structure, impart knowledge and inculcate best practices for the children with type 1 diabetes living in low resource setting.
We have the curriculum, tools and methodologies to build an eco-system that ensured that children with type 1 diabetes to not just survive but also thrive. And we believe that this cannot be done alone. Join our mentorship programme to build and sustain a center in your city or village or create more champions or simply download our ready to use resources at your own center.
Clinic Mentorship Module
If you are a Doctor, Social worker or an NGO who is working in the area of Type 1 Diabetes, especially in the low resource setting, we would love to share our knowledge and grow together. There is much to learn from each other. We have developed a short 3 day sprint, where we can share our structure, knowledge and resources. This is done through a Hybrid Online and Off-line sessions spanning 3 days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
