This Independence Day, join a global movement to build a world where people living with Type 1 Diabetes are understood, accepted and supported. Every day, thousands of children and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes manage a lifelong condition with remarkable courage. Yet, alongside insulin injections and blood sugar checks, they often face something far more difficult to manage... misunderstanding. The Freedom From Stigma Walk is a worldwide initiative that invites people to walk in their own cities, anytime before the midnight of 14th August as a simple but powerful act of solidarity. Whether you walk for one kilometre or ten, your participation helps spread awareness, challenge myths and remind every person living with Type 1 Diabetes that they are not alone.
